With an eye for detail and a strong interest in grammar and vocabulary, I work to ensure words and sentences reflect my clients' intended meaning. I have experience in substantive, stylistic, and copy editing, as well as in proofreading. In 2007, I earned the credential of Certified Proofreader through the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC). I am very active in the EAC, currently serving on the national executive as member at large. For the association's 2006 conference, I organized and moderated a panel discussion on Copyright in the 21st Century. In 2007, I took part in two panel presentations: an entertaining debate on punctuation and the closing plenary session on editing rates.
